At the start of this season we had the best 11 we had seen for years. As i have asked several times and had no response name me a better 11? Mismanagement and losing alnwick and grant has cost us. Would you really change Alnwick, Purkiss, Streete, Smith, Knops, Foley, Grant, Jones, Thomas, Forrester, Hooper for Neal, Purkiss, Dickinson, Mcgivern, Duffy, Birchall, O connor, Grant, Moore, dodds and AJ?

 

You probably wont realise this because your heads up your arse, but we have beat Fleetwood, scunthorpe, southend, Rochdale, Millwall and drew with bristol and oxford, thats the top 10, losing only to bradford.

 

The side that got us promoted 4 years ago is better than this crop of *****.

Then we have who we have beaten. Conveniently forgetting the absolute drubbings at Bury, Sheffield and Bolton off the top of my head.

The other 5, you've no chance. So no, the start of the seasons first 11 were not the best we have seen in years.

What's cost us is huge mismanagement by the owner will defend until the cows come home.

He holds it up ok ST and is probably the only one in this squad who could do a passable job of playing up front on his own (Reg yesterday? Why?), but even if he played 40 games a season, he would not get close to 10 goals.

We drew away with Bradford first game, we lost to them at home recently after other losses at home to Walsall, Northampton, Peterborough and Coventry (bottom by miles but done the double over us). Winning a few games early doors doesn't mean anything, we are in the bottom four for a reason
