this was suggested to him at the meeting the other week as a way of taking over glens position imediatley, which most seemed in agreement with from where i was sitting

 

at the time he said he had no intention at the time to join the board whats changed?

 

didn't think he was minted enough to have 100k swilling around

 

if it helps to remove the old guard then i'm willing to see what hhe has to offer

Mike Lloyd didn't have a personal vote of no confidence, shareholders elected him onto the board. The vote of no confidence was against the board as a five man unit.

I am a Vale fan but not a shareholder. I can see the reasons why fans put money into the club back in 2003 to save their club. I would imagine most of you shareholders as fans did this with no expectation of getting a return on your investment, dividends etc.

 

What's Perry expecting to get from his £100K.... surely a return of some sort?

Didn't take long for Perry to change his mind from what he said at BGWMC, did it? I am sure he stated he was not looking to become a director.

Is he a wealthy man our Perry? My initial thoughts are that 100k is a lot of brass for a relative newcomer to 'invest' or donate into our club, isn't it more or less twice as much as any of the other directors have invested?

The shareholders in terms of shareholdings decided only 2 should. I don't agree with it, I think it should have been one shareholder one vote, but under the rules the 3 directors have a right to stay on.

 

The rules stink, but c'est la vie.
