1. Bratt, we were informed, was going when Blue Sky signed and Deakin said he had a letter from Bratt to that effect. When questionned on this Mike Lloyd stammered his way through his answer as to why Bratt hadn't gone. More lies from Deakin and Lloyd.

 

2. I said weeks ago that Bratt wouldn't go as something wouldnt be right with this deal and now it appears he isn't.

 

I'm fedup with our club being run by liars and people looking after their own ends, it stinks.

why not? because there is a good deal in bluessky on the table and he sees the club going forwards? because he knows the ins and outs of the club and sees it as a good investment?

 

you question everything but will never know the answers. WHY? because you are a football supporter and you have no standing in the club other than the right to attend and pay money. It is your decision to take an interest in Vale or not. If you don't like it, **** off.

 

NLV man was offered a place on the board and he turned it down. If you demand to know why you don't know the answers to your questions, he's your man to blame

 

Wrong! we do have a right to ask questions of a board who have a vote of no confidence against them.

I realise he may not be everyone cup of tea but ice been quite impressed by Deakin. I think he's done some good things in his time here so far.

The only problem i've got with this is i thought Bratt was supposed to stepping down as part of the blue sky deal, now it seems dependant on deakin being on the board.

Dont have a problem with deakin being a director and ceo,the difference with bratt is, he was chairman and ceo and a pretty useless ceo at that.

If BB and GO leave that leaves ML and MA, Adams has stated he wants to step down, which leaves ML. 3 short of the qourum.

so 3 more are needed,deakin, hank the yank, and the other maybe mark sims[hopefully]

We need to cut some slack somewhere along the line or this will never be sorted.

As i said, the only concern is the fact that bratt was meant to step down on completion of the blue sky deal, not deakin's directorship.

I have not read all 9 pages either, but I am puzzled as to how that conclusion is reached.

 

We are all conditioned to think that there is a hidden and evil agenda behind every move.

 

When (not if) Bill Bratt goes, he needs to be replaced. Perhaps this move is one which the new investor thought would be better than having two American based directors added to the board. Or maybe even that it would be necessary if there were US based directors?

I would just like to put on record my thanks to Mr Bratt for the following

 

1, tripling of the clubs debt

2, lowest league position in over 25 years

3, setting a record for worst ever FA cup defeat

4, appointing 2 of the possibly most hated managers in the clubs history

5, the rejection of record investment into the club ( not reliant on grants/loans etc)

6, caught out telling "untruths"on local radio

7, splitting the fanbase (something that I never thought would happen and fear will never be repaired)

8, providing a creche

Tone, we were told by Deakin that Bratt would be going "as soon as the Blue Sky investment was signed" and he had a letter from Bratt to confirm that. Matt Sandos quizzed Lloyd on this very point and asked why Bratt had not gone, Lloyd could not give a straight answer and showed the signs of a man who was lying. We were also told a blue sky rep would be replacing Bratt on the board so why does Deakin have to?

 

So no suspected evil or hidden agenda theory, just going off what has been said and been in the media.
