I'm guessing it's injuries with Eagles as his career has 'gone south' pretty rapidly since leaving Bolton(summer 2014) he's barely managed 30 games at 4 clubs. A shame as mentioned he used to be a very talented and classy midfield player at least at Championship level.

 

 

Apparently his poor form coincided with the loss of his child. Very understandable really.

He has experience with him and Taylor on the wings it sounds good but are they fit enough unlike pato who was gone. But if accy have released him why are we singing him ? Can they not afford him or are we on the same wage budget as them? Shouldn't we be aiming higher?

Eagles has been a quality Championship player. Someone here questioned about his legs but he's never been a pacey player anyway. It's more to do whether he has the desire and appetite for the game still. Hitchcock seems to have unfulfilled potential and might just need to find a club that suits him. Wish them both the best of luck and that they add something to our squad.

Forester and Hooper looked half decent. Nice to see some striking options..

I didn't notice a language barrier at one point between Hopper and Pereira was evident.
