Boxing: Fights coming up

He's calling his bluff at this time. AJ is a busted flush, sorry to say, as I like the guy sort of. THE fight is now Fury Usyk. This would just be a warm up, big pay day fight. Usyk has already said he won't be fighting  for some time.

GGG vs Canelo III on Saturday, bad blood still between them.

IMHO GGG won the first fight, Adelaide Byrd's scorecard was the probably the worst scorecard in boxing history.  Don Trella's scorecard gave round 7 to Canelo when even Byrd gave round 7 to GGG, Compubox backs up that GGG threw and landed more punches in round 7.

Although the drugs issue clouded the 2nd fight credit to Canelo as he changed his tactics and was more of the aggressor but for me it was a still draw.

The fight is being held at 168ibs so who does it benefit? I don't know but it sure is a super fight and it will be brutal. I feel GGG needs to take it out of the judges hands, but can he?

Looking forward to this one. Must win for GGG purely for redemption purposes. However I feel age might be against him

As much as I can't stand Canelo for the drugs fail and the corrupt judges giving him that undeserved win. He's one of the best of our generation and still an absolute killer. Will be interesting to see how he gets on with the weight change. Didn't he move up against Bivol ?

Really Hope Golovkin wins this one, the only guy to take a big right from Canelo and not even flinch.

Canelo apparently wants the bivol rematch after this. Personally I'd love to see him take on Beterbiev. Would be an absolute war

I'm with you .GGG clearly won the first fight and whilst the 2nd was closer I thought he won that too. Canelo has been avoiding the 3rd fight waiting for age to catch up with GGG which I think it has.Hope I'm wrong

GGG ran on empty, he looked past it, right decision.

No excuses for GGG but he hasn't looked the same fighter to me since he left Able Sanchez.

Absolutely agree mate. Was sad to see , he looked old and tired

But what a career he has had. Never been knockdown or knocked out. A legend of the sport and one of the greatest middleweights of this generation

Yep, I guess father time catches up with everyone in time.

It's a real shame GGG didn't make his debut in the USA 'til he was 30 years old due to a combination of a long, stellar amateur career (340-0-5) and some German mismanagement of his early professional career.

He said after the fight he planned to continue boxing at Middleweight, I must admit I hope he's sensible about it as fighters who've avoided him for years are now gonna to be queueing up to fight him.

Credit to Joyce for KOing Parker . I was expecting a bore fest for 12 rounds. He's called out Usyk next. Could be interesting

Stokes very own Heaney also won despite getting a very nasty cut.

I thought that was the best main event fight for a long time. Fair play to the ref for letting it go on that long as well. Real entertainment

I'm bored to tears about the fury-AJ will they or won't they fight. Sky sports making it a big deal by saying its deadline day for them to agree terms. At this point I just want them to fight so they can stop talking  about. Been over five years of this now

This is the problem with modern boxing

Manny-mayweather. Nearly ten years till they eventually fought. Terrible fight and boring to watch as a viewer

Brook-Khan. Six years too late, both fighters far past their prime when they thought this year

Crawford-Erroll Spence Jr. Both talk the talk and claim to the best in the division but won't fight each despite all the social media trash talk.

Too much politics and money involved when it comes to the likes of Eddie hearn , Frank Warren and other promoter's. All greedy buggars and want more and more
