Going for a few beers before and after the game, a lot of good pubs on Gloucester Road from the ground in to the city centre.

Where is the ground in relation to the city centre? I'll be driving up the M5 from Exeter but the only bits of Bristol I know is the area around Temple Meads station and where Ikea is. Any ideas what the parking is like around the ground?

It's about 2 miles west from Temple Meads, if coming from the centre drive down Gloucester Road for about 1.5 miles and you should be able to see the ground. Plenty of street parking nearby but does get very busy on match days. I'm traveling up by train from Weston then meeting up with friends from Bristol. Traffic in Bristol is horrendous, it's the most congested city in Britain and 3rd worst in Europe.

I might get the train from Worle and then make my way there from Temple Meads..seems there are plenty of buses form the Temple Meads area

Bristol's nowt really! Only just over 2 hrs away in the car, obviously there are the localish close bigger games for people, but in terms of distance, this is nowhere near the longest ones in our league.

 

Also, Parkway is closer than Temple Meads for those going on train.
