If the information is easily available where is it and can you tell me how many STs we have sold?

 

Club say " about 3500" - we sold 4300 last year

That was the year of Target 5,000. The two years are not comparable. I also wouldn't trust an average of three games compared to an average of over 46 games!

 

Looking at 2009-10, which can be compared to this year, especially in the way the fixtures have fallen, the crowds are not much different at all.

After today's result the stay aways will start to treacle back slowly. Add another 500 plus on to next saturdays match versus Southend I reckon.

There are none so blind as those who won't see.....sorry, but you really are being obtuse if you seriously think that the club can cope financially with significantly reduced gates, and when however many (I'm not going to get into an argument about numbers) previously hard core fans are opting not to go. I include myself in that - I've had season tickets for the last few years, and so has my lad, and I was going to almost all the home games before then......not been yet this season.

 

If there are more there for the Southend game, I'd be willing to bet it's because of something that happens at BGWMC on Sunday more than what happened on the pitch today. Doubtless you'll still be singing the same tune.....

Actually they didn't - Crawley was 9% down on first match last year. I think more people have not had a ST, are picking & choosing their games , and chose that one. First match, high profile and possibly wanted to attend the protest march? ===

4) the balance left was working capital as an emergency if we ever needed it

It's not down to the board, they sold the catering rights for a quick couple of grand.
