Chickens coming home to roost once again....Page we are led to believe told the chairman he doesnt need a striker....if this is true then im utterly shocked because not only do we need a striker of proven scoring ability but we need a defence & staff who can coach the players in how to defend.

 

This week we have had the usual faces spouting "season not over, lots to play for, playing for futures blah blah blah" yet the turn in that abject display!

 

We all know page is weak as rats urine & hasnt the bottle for a proper clean out of the deadwood, so we know the usual suspects will get contracts.

 

Page isnt the man for us, & theres 10 players in this squad i wouldnt have in a sunday league side.

 

Then we get to the chairman...a man who has managed to miss every opportunity to develop the fanbase, has attacked fans verbally, given veiled threats of cuts, stand closures & other such nonsense not to mention the farcical "sale or no sale" BS!

 

3pts from playoffs was just papering over the ever widening gaps, the reality is we are a club going nowhere, with a manager who talks more spin than Lee Sinnott & players who frankly are a disgrace with no bottle or spine.

 

Its time we fans had an owner with a plan, a manager who can actually build a team & solve the frailties we have shown season on season (cant defend wont defend).

 

We are no looking likely to finish this season exactly how we finished last season...a long series of defeats...& that is down to players & manager simply out of their depth.

Only the Vale, goal scoring problem needs to be sorted asap. Players need to play hard and get results in the last 5 games of the season 'cause poor end of season form has a habit of carrying over into the next season. Thank heaven we already have 56 points.

Page will come out with the usual. We played well and I am so proud of their fighting spirit. We did not deserve to loose the game.

When we concede 4 against a poor side it isn't up front where we have the biggest problem. Our strikers scored 2 and that should have been more than enough. Still we had the defence most fans selected.
