The issues here are a director visited a shareholder to ask him to reconsider who he was voting for when the postal votes should not have been known. Mr Pickthorne then visited his solicitor. Olivers actions were at best immoral at worse bordering on something more serious.

Oliver should never have visited the guy prior to the egm and asked him to switch his vote as the proxy should not have been opened at that point

Hi all,

 

Shortly after the EGM I posted on here an apology to Glenn Oliver in relation to accusations that he had bullied an aged shareholder into voting for the Board.

 

I have today read a personal letter from this shareholder which clearly absolves Glenn from any such activity.

 

Although the EGM is now history I think it only fair to Glenn to make public that he was wrongly accused and I publicly apologise to him for thinking otherwise.

 

Over the past few years I have had more than one disagreement with Glenn which has seen us adopting opposite views, but I would not wish to accuse him of something that clearly did not happen.
