I agree that one of the best 45 minutes was at Fleetwood when Daniel was up front but that day he had AJ alongside him, really don't think he is the answer on his own up front. I don't know if Hooper will be the answer but for me we are not going to find out by giving him 5 minutes every week, after 60 minutes he should have been on the pitch. I still feel we don't have the right striker to play one up top, the ball comes back too often, would like to see someone else alongside AJ.

Have you seen Hooper in training,Pagey sees him every day and he's not ready, just like Campion wasn't when many fans were clamouring for his inclusion.Trust the manager.

Not seen him in training and cannot judge on what he has done when he has come on as he has not had long enough but for me Daniel looked out of it after an hour on Monday and this would have been a chance to have given Hooper a chance. According to Page last week he said he has made rapid progress, not saying he should be playing every week but 5 minutes does not give the lad a chance.

Incidentally, why is it that when Walsall and Coventry win the game because their subs score it's because their managers are football geniuses but when we do it it's because our manager is lucky??

I haven't seen anyone call Walsall or Coventry's managers 'geniuses'.

OK that was a bit tongue in cheek but there were posters on here who claimed that those two managers knew what they were doing because their subs scored whereas Page is apparently only lucky because his sub scored. There is always an element of luck when a substitution comes off - especially when it's offside!!

Then why even bother have him on the bench and why bother bringing him on for 5 minutes every game? Bodin said the other week he was getting close to a first team place. Evidently not. If he isn't good enough then page should just say he isn't ready yet and won't be starting instead of suggesting that he's there or there abouts and never giving him a chance

IMO the sub was only lucky because it was a great goal. Kelly should have started, at home he dosent need to defend as much and is a real threat at times going forward. I think page was very lucky because without that one moment we did literally nothing in the second half.

He's obviously easing in him gradually.
