It would be great to have a bit of unity giving support to chairman manager player no one usually goes out to fail.lets get behind the club and give moral support, 92 team in football league ,(real football) all with one aim to win as many games as they can,no given right to win every game,keep the faith,we may have another Eddie Howe in our midst,United we will succeed U.t.Vale

Every manager we could get has failed elsewhere, unless we bring in someone untried. The problem with the Page out brigade is that nobody can agree on who should replace him, bring in Rossler (who we can't afford) and 4 games in and a number of fans would already be calling for his head. Based on budget I have no doubt Page is currently performing above what would be just above par, if we were one of the richer clubs then I think our league position would justify sacking him. Like any manager he is 4 or 5 games from the sack, but I do feel there is a lot of unrealistic expectation about what is good for a team with our resources. Overall the team is better than last season and if we could make a top 10 finish this year I think we will be in a better position to attract the extra couple of players I think we need to push on next season and I don't think the team was ever going to improve enough in one season to get promotion this year. With the exception of Kelly all the players Page has recruited have been a significant improvement on last year and being positive I think they are all on 2 year contracts, so there is a solid base to kick on from.

Being pedantic, only 72 teams in the FL, which will be re-named EFL next season. E = English not Emirates.

The FL are having a go at it, but it takes time. How long ago did the Premiership change to the Premier League, don't think Pulis has noticed. It just shows that habits take a long time to change.

There is a solid base I agree but Page still has a lot to prove after some truly dismal showings this year. I am one who would side for page leaving, even on saturday I felt we were poor but character and effort pulled us through, but as you say naming a replacement may be difficult.

We are currently ahead of quite a few sides in the league as well. This is a mid table squad in my opinion (if we had no injuries or suspensions all season, we might finish higher but that's unrealistic). I also think we will finish mid table.
