Dream team starting eleven?

This is very hard.. don't know how Page is going do this.... some good players won't even be on the bench... mine would be;

Neal,

Purkiss, Streete, Inniss, McGivern,

Grant,

Kelly, O'Connor, Foley, Moore,

AJ,

 

Bench: Johnson, Duffy, Dicko, Brown, Birchall, Daniel, Uche

 

Even then players such as Campion, Andoh, Dodds, Yates, Lloyd, aren't included..

I'm surprised at Dodds not being in many people's teams. For me, his link up play with AJ in particular, over the last few games has looked the most natural up front.

My team based on what I've seen on players prior to joining us. I don't take much stock in pre-season results. We had an awesome pre-season we got relegated from League One!

The only player I'm taking a leap on there is Kelly. I know AJLS has scored a few pre-season but I think there's something good there with Ikpaezu.

Andoh has played one game ? or part of, maybe full debut

 

and the following who all have a very limited number of Vale appearances - Inniss, Streete, Campion, Lloyd

 

 

who may all play a part though not all these players can start

 

 

Either way, it must be one of the most changed opening-day teams for many a season.

Because of this Brown and Dicko could be the crucial glue that holds the side together.

I agree Dodds must either start or be on the bench with a view to being introduced with at least 30 minutes left if not starting.

I agree Dodds has been playing very well with Ajay, but I think Page should try a Uche and Ajay partnership because they together offer everything, it is a bit like a Williamson and Pope partnership but better, hopefully!

I just don't know if there is space for Dodds, he has been playing well but so has everybody else... everyone seems to have improved. Birchall, Yates and McGivern should be giving Page a headache because all three have been very good over pre season and seemed to improve from last season.
