I think we would be better off playing just 1 up front usually but against Crewe we should really attack and batter their awful defence that they havent strengthened this season. Infact it is weaker.

If we get an early goal they will crumble and it could well be a cricket score. Worst team in the division. Longer it stays 0 - 0 the more chance they have got of getting a result.

I wouldn't be over confident. We were last year and got our hands badly burned. They've had the best of these derby games in the last few years and it won't be easy at all.

 

I suspect he might find room for Brown's experience (for 60 minutes) now that O'Connor is injured.

I'm guessing he'll play his captain Dicko before McGivern.

I'd have Foley in before Kelly.

Up front is anyone's guess. I suppose Andoh is a long shot but he hasn't yet paired Uche and AJ so he may be thinking still of Dodds in the hole and playing one of the other two to start, leaving the bench with a few options.

 

Thankfully the XI doesn't appear too bad, despite having 2 of our top players out.
