Squad size

It's pretty big, isn't it!? If we get Innes and a couple of strikers in, I think we'll have 31 players under contract. I'm guessing that means that some of the young players who signed pro contracts will still be part of the development squad, but not sure where it leaves the likes of Kapend. Anyone got any idea of who we're going to have in the main squad and the creche?

I'm not personally expecting inniss now having signed purkiss.

Purkiss isn't a centre back so I would be surprised if that has any effect on any potential deal for inniss.

Purkiss is a right back.... I fully expect inniss or another centre back to sign. As for the squad it is big but I expect many of the younger players to be loaned out and it looks like lines will be off, also potentially I could see some players having there contract terminated so they could join another side. Brown probably coaching as well

We have lost a lot of players in the close season and there is surely money left in the jar for a couple of decent forwards.

Our signings to date look good to me.

Yes, he seems to be a decent experienced signing and a potentially good partner for O'Connor in central midfield - and he has already said that is where he is best suited. But now Page has signed Grant so is he planning on playing Foley out on the left?

GK:Neal, Johnson, Boot.

 

Defence: Purkiss, Yates, Smith, Duffy, Streete, McGivern, Deen-Conteh, Dickinson,

 

Midfield: Birchall, Moore, O'Connor, Dodds, Brown*, Lloyd, Daniel, Foley, Grant, Lines*, Andoh, Kelly,

 

Strikers: Campion,

 

Development Squad/Reserves.

The first and second year professionals??

 

 

So it obvious to us all we need 2/3 strikers I would personally like us to sign 2 perminantly,

Then on loan-

Inniss on a season long loan,

A pacey direct winger ( Marshall mould)

And a striker.

 

Let Smith & Boot go out on loan.

 

And I expect brown to stay as well as lines moving on.
