end of season depression

Worst game I've seen all season, and I include Vale games in that.

 

Anyway, I've had a great weekend. I had a lie in on Saturday morning instead of having to drag myself out of bed and on to a train to Stoke. I met up with an old friend in the afternoon and we had a good catch up over a coffee or three. I remember the days when I was a kid and I used to hate the football season coming to an end and I'd have nothing to do with myself on a Saturday. These days I'm just glad for the rest. I don't know if it's because I'm getting older or if it's because the football club I support has become more and more dysfunctional during my adult years. Supporting the Vale is mentally quite tiring.

June 17th League fixtures

Aug 8th Opening league game

 

not really long to wait, and within 10 days we will also have player contract news, and 2 weeks later its the friendly games, and some new players - will be here soon enough.

 

Will we be lucky enough to be at home first game again ? Personally Id like Sheffield United away opening day to get it played and the chance of winning there will be higher.

The highlights show tonight will be the shortest programme ever.
