I support what you're doing Smurf, but, and you admit to this yourself, your PR skills aren't the best. You under estimate the impact it has on fans. Fair play. Maybe you shouldn't have put numbers on it, just suggesting that a really exciting player was going to play for Vale would have created a buzz and massive speculation, some people would then have come along just to find out if it was true!

Do you honestly believe these constant attacks on fans both attending & non attending is the best way to build the fanbase?

 

In my industry if i took your approach i would be out of business very quickly...the last lot learnt the hard way where the power really lays...dont make the same mistake.

Two issues.

 

You comment that you will invest more if fans turned-up Saturday. They didn't and now you won't fund loanee. Fair enough, I say.

 

But to close RS 24 hours before match is a joke and does nothing to encourage the fans that you have actually got.
