This is a question not a attempt at winding up (because some think thats all I do) What happens if Adams does not have a good run and they think about firing him ?

They gave Adams such a huge contratc that Port Vale will never ever have the finances to get rid of one trick pony Adams

I guess he could in principle become chairman, and then he'd have to sack himself.

Adams is just a Director to make up the numbers to legitimate the machinations of a Board of Directors who have no moral authority or mandate and who got a vote of no confidence and should resign....the vote at the EGM removed the Board from power and a non-functioning powerless Board of Directors with a vote of no confidence and no moral authority or mandate was the democratic result of the EGM.It was to stop them doing any more damage to the club with clear instructions to resign.

They have used a subordinate and employee to stand in sponsored by Stan Meigh who was voted off the Board at the EGM inorder to legitimate the Board of Directors with two fingers at the EGM vote of no confidence inorder to transfer loans and sponsorship into equity and

remove Mark Sims who was elected at the EGM without Mark Sims seeing the books...because with 51% they can un-elect Mark Sims and withdraw

the NLV offer while Jackson along with Meigh and Mudie can simply take back their seat in the Boardroom....51% and they can never be challenged again and nobody is ever going to see those books.

Given the above Micky Adams is his own man and a one off being the only one stupid enough to step forward and legitimate the Board of Directors

despite their removal from power at the EGM and a vote of no confidence.

Micky Adams will not get told what to do he will do what he thinks is right.
Adams will be able to vote to extend his contract and to vote to keep himself employed no matter if we're bottom of the league by christmas.

What a ******ed up situation the club is in.

Great for Adams though as he now is on easy money until he retires or at least till the club goes into administration. :bomb:

the instability is now over, the loan sharks have lost, we can move onwards and upwards with our fan owned club.

up the vale.

put your feeble issues aside, get down the club and renew your season tickets, you have lost.

Happy now Bill?

A similar question. But about when he said he would buy shares.

Suppose Adam's does one and walks away to take up another position at another club.

Would he be able to do so because him having shares in Vale could be seen as a conflict of interests?

Yes he could sell his share's(or try to).But the board could easily stop the shares transfer therefor stopping him working elsewhere.
