Maybe I should be more careful what I wish for, as I said yesterday it would be good to play AFC Wimbledon or Crawley first game.

There will be a lot of attention on Crawleys first ever league match, and for that reason I'd expect them to bring between 500 and 800 fans, or if they do a promotion with cheap coaches maybe more.

It's a difficult game and the other early fixtures are tricky too, but no predictions from me until the starting line-up is a bit clearer. A team with 3 decent new attack/midfield players to build on what we already have can do well, it remains to be seen who we get.

Even though the game is unlikely to be televised live Im told, the Football League show will probably give it more than the usual 45 seconds coverage they allocate to L2 games. Looking forward to Micky getting us off to a good start.

I would love to be there, but sadly and mainly due to the irremoveable board, I won't.

cant justify people saying " lets go get behind mickey and the boys" and forget about everything... do we even have 18 registered players?, Crawley will hammer Vale, and many teams will next season if there isn't change and soon!

They offered their fans free travel for a game that could have earned them promotion and the title - total away following was 80. Divide your estimates by 10 and you'll have a realistic figure.

Thats a good idea, lets get the excuses in early for next seasons failure.

 

I blame them nasty protesters, before the black and gold protests started in late 2010 we used get promoted every year under Bill Bratt's wonderful leadership.
