Yorkshire teabags as well, none of yer namby-pamby flowery fragrant stuff.

Have you seen how ****ing expensive those Tea Pig teabags are!?! £10 for 50 teabags- some one is having a right laugh!

Teapot very occasionally ( Doultons China ).I also prefer tea in a china cup.I had a friend who refused to use teabags.The classic old brown,I haven't seen one of them for ages.

 

The Sadlers teapot we have must be 40 years old..my Mum possibly helped to make it when she worked there!!!

If you get chance try a straight ristretto which are traditionally drunk from a demitasse and not diluted into a larger cup containing milk or water,it could be described as bolder,fuller,with more body and less bitterness.It can be diluted into a cup of water (to make an Americano or long black) or milk (e.g. latte and cappuccino),ristrettos are less bitter and exhibit a more tame espresso character.

somewhere in the house I've a couple of paragon teapots both unused as I allways used an old Kensington pot fer a brew.

I nearly always start my day with a milk coffee - full cream, Nescafe, no sugar. Other than that it's tea. milk, one sugar or water except after a Indian meal which ends with a black coffee, no sugar :)

Right I'm on it, my mate gave me his espresso maker when he left to go travelling recently but as you say it's just too bitter for ones palate don't you know! :D
