...true.... I had nothing to do this week either, so I totted up their minutes on the pitch for their league games. Surprisingly, although we haven't seen Pope for what seems like ages, it was only in the 33rd min of the Boxing Day match v Sheff Utd that Williamson had played more mins than Pope!

So he scored then. Making him joint top scorer? And not us all wrong as i for one have never really doubted his ability to score. I hope whem he proves the doubters wrong that they learn and arent so quick to criticise future players. I doubt it though dont you.

You will probably find like myself and others - we all agree he has the skill, but lacks the confidence sometimes and this causes the fans to single him out for criticism, as he does not score the simple goals.

 

Would love to be proved wrong and Willo to score as many goals as Pope. However, remember Pope has been out injured for several months, so has not been able to score. Soon as he is back, then Willo will not be the top/joint scorer.
