After the influx of new young talent these past few weeks I am delighted to see us being proactive in trying to get our better players signed up beyond this season.

 

Retaining experienced players from this season and adding young quality paints a pretty happy picture to me.

 

Seems to me Norman has a clearly defined forward plan for the club and just needs to enhance the off field team now and instil some of his passion and commitment into them or replace them if they don't sign up to his ethos.

Absolutely the right policy and I am further encouraged by the attempt to sign Vesseli on a regular basis.

A regular 1,000 more fans returning for the second half of the season would encourage Norman as much as his actions are encouraging us.

Yes but extra fans must be encouraged to sample and then converted through consistently good home performances. Sheffield United on Boxing Day would be a start, particularly as there will be extra fans there. If the performance is good enough we might even begin the conversion of Sheffield fans.

That's where I think Norman has been an unlucky Chairman Al. Whenever we have had the chance to impress in front of a decent crowd the players have let him down.

 

I do think it's time for some of the stay away fans to look at what Norman is trying to do at the club and say 'ok I like the sound of that and it's worth turning up and show him some support for a better future'.
