If you care to read the thread, you will see that I have made no personal comment on the team selection. Oh, and if can you can point out those praising the selection before I made my original post, I would be greatly indebted to you

You made a claim that the 3 changes were not wanted by the fans. You are making a statement based on a few comments by a few fans.

I would be even more indebted to you if you could back up your wild presumptions empirically.

the most pointless post ever

no need ever talking about team selections ever again eh, if it really makes no difference

and for the record, anyone else who wants to label us numpties or have an iq of a potato... the complaints were about the team sheet at kick off, not the fact we are winning

Don't be a weapon. Since when have I suggested that talking about team selections is pointless as you're rather bizzarely suggesting?

But no matter what team Page puts out, whether he swaps Campion for Williamson or Robertson for Duffy, Vale are still going to be an inconsistent side that win one week and lose the next.

Only if you make some big assumptions that we wouldn't be winning unless Williamson and Dickinson weren't playing, and that the score couldn't possibly be more. Also if you are happy to make such an assumption, can it also be claimed it was their fault we lost last week?

But no one can predict what would of happened if he had picked the team most fans wanted, yes we could be winning 4-0 or we could be losing 1-0 why can't fans just except the team and be happy with what looks like 3 very much needed points regardless of who was involved. It's a team game, we win as a team and lose as a team.

The same way we could also be losing if he had picked the team everyone wanted

correct, we could. which proves my point, why should I "be the bigger man and admit I was wrong" when we don't know what would have happened?

anyways this is getting boring now

Football is a game of varying opinions and surely we should all be allowed to discuss them on a fans forum without starting an argument. For goodness sake, we are winning, we should all be praising the team whether we agree with the team selection or not. For the record, I feel that both Williamson and Dickinson don't deserve their place in the team at the moment but with McGivern out injured, then probably Dickinson had to play. If we keep a clean sheet, then dropping Robbo might be the right decision although can't see why he has been dropped based on recent performances. Last week, we were woeful but as someone has already said, that's the Vale all over. Fingers crossed for the three points today and we can all have a good Christmas.
