Those salaries don't seem outragrous to me at all.

I do believe M.P.s should be much better paid, however. I also believe M.P.s shouldn't be having all these consultancies etc on the side of a full time job which makes their M.P. pay next to irrelevant.

Personally I'd not like that as I believe we would lose so much..local radio, maybe some of the national radio programmes/stations, the less commercially viablye wildlife and arts programmes and so on.

 

I think we should cherish the BBC and the fact that there really is nothing else like it, whilst always keeping a close eye on it's editorial independence, bias and the like. I don't want all TV and radio in this country to be commercially driven
