Well left back is certainly a position that needs some attention (It could be argued it has done for years!). We just never seem to quite get it right in that area for whatever reason!:nailbiting:

I do actually like this direction NS wants to take the club in. I don't think we're in any danger of going down, and reconciling our league one place with exciting youngsters to come through over the next couple of years could be the way forward. It does beg the question why we discontinued the development squad in the summer; although no doubt that was more down to tyranosaurus Adams, with his love of fist pumping, long ball hoofing, hard tackling "experienced" players.

I agree, and think Smurf is doing a good job taking this club forward.

 

But you have to question the wisdom of giving Adams another contract. Smurf's vision and Adams didn't fit at all, so I don't know why we didn't cut ties at the end of last season.
