price increase at vale

I personally think Its a poor decision.

Don't get me wrong, i knew about this and so should all Vale fans as it was well publicised at the start of the season. However, after 5 straight defeats its a kick in the teeth to the paying customer who cannot get a ticket before 16.45 tomorrow afternoon.

I suspect we may get less than 4000 tomorrow night.

We'd not have got much over 4000 even with a win at Crewe (unless BC bring shedloads) as Tuesday night crowds are always awful at Vale, with just a couple of notable exceptions like the shrewsbury game when we went top about 3 years ago.

If there were a guess the crowd Id go for 3900,thats assuming 500 or so come up from brizzle.

I'd like to know the justification in putting the prices up so at least supporters know what their money is being used for i.e. due to an increase in wages, to fund players coming into the club etc. I appreciate that the Vale is a business and of course like any business needs to make money but to charge £26 is too much particularly for the walk up fan and in League 1. I wonder how we compare to other clubs in our league and maybe even the Championship for ticket prices?

Makes me laugh , half the people whinging about this it won't affect anyway or are not going because we are not winning !!

They've not got time to sort a ticket out but spend half of their lives on here moaning about something they're not going to do in the first place , priceless !!

I'll dare bet the rest of their time is spent on, to quote R/Stoke nowadays as 'social media' telling people what they've had for their tea or how many times the dog has p****d up a tree today !!

Get on with it , if you want to support your team do what is required to get a ticket or don't go , simple enough decision , or is it ??!!

Id be interested to see the results of the survey that you did as to how you came to work out that it is half the people (50% of people surveyed);)

I think I will pass on the £26 entry fee tonight thank you.

Instead I can watch my local team Eastleigh v Forest Green this evening in the Conference, in which it will cost a grand total of £0 to get in. Special offer on for the fans to attend.

Better still, I even get to see both Lee Hughes and Jon Parkin in action too!:D
