I pondered about getting back into this thread, but here goes, if your on your way home from the pub after celibrating a Vale win and a guy jumps you with a knife, you being a law abiding person so not carrying a weapon stand there and try to reason with him. So he tells you **** off give me your wallet, watch, phone etc, or else what do you do? tell him to put his fists up, OR do you pick up that chair leg so kindly left by the last load of g**po's and wade into him?.

 

Its a sad state of affairs today since 9/11 when the world grew up, its no use trying to play by "civilised" rules if the other yobo dose,nt, you do what you have to do- end of...

When they loaded that 10yr old girl in Nigeria with explosives and told her to go into the market they wer,nt being civilised, and playing by the rules. by playing them at there own game you are not lowering yourself to there level your surviving, its there war, they started it, they want it, so therefore they,ve now got it, live with it...after we,ve beaten them and we will, we can send them millions of £,s in aid as we,ve done countless times before.

re my above comments, recent happenings have again shown there is no reasoning and talking to these *****, its not just muslim against the infidels(us) its muslim against muslim, or anyone who dose,nt do as they say.

This is history repeating itself, and we all know what happened back then, its time to stop pi** ar**** about, do the job right no talking so this dose,nt happen again.

As to "our young English men having rights to re-enter the UK after being on holiday in Syria, rubbish if its proved they have been fighting with the s**t forget them, they do,nt deserve our protection. Why let em back then prosecute em it costs us there keep then.

This weekend I read an article about the naked rambler. He's spent most of the last 8 years in prison - solitary confinement.

 

He's stoic and continues to refuse to wear clothes. Other than some emotional pain he caused his family (not belittling it but that would be a domestic issue and nothing at all to do with the police) nobody has been killed, maimed, tortured, threatened or abused by him.

 

There are seasoned criminals, hate preachers and abusers who have spent less time in custody.

 

The law is an ass and justice doesn't work.

So someone managed to smuggle a phone in to the prison..this sort of thing has always happened and always will. Obviously those in charge do what they can to stop it but no system is perfect

 

I prefer to focus on the fact that the vast majority are serving their time in a high security environment and are unable to do such as this cos of the hard work of those in charge of security

According to this seems it's not his nakedness as such that has been the repeated issue but contempt of court and breach of the peace....it's the persistant criminal behavior that is totting up his sentences.

High security environment,holiday camp springs to mind.Good job we don't have this level of security at our airports?

Well you are free to "book yourself a holiday" there if it's so pleasant.

 

Prison guards and those in charge do a fantastic job and should not be condemned cos of a few isolated incidents. There are 80,000+ people in UK prisons so a few doing this sort of thing is so far from the norm. of course it should never happen but no system is perfect and we should always strive to make ours better
