They go on about playing football the right way.

Their performance when we beat them at their place was shambolic. Didnt string together 3 passes all afternoon.

 

They didn't play that way in the return fixture though did they? it was the turn of the home side to struggle to put two passes together.

I want Crewe to go down simply because of the arrogance of McGarry, Baker and Peter Morse. Their attitude when they beat us at Vale Park really wound me up.

 

We had Morse screaming that Davis hadn't been sent off when he didn't deserve to be. Then we had McGarry claiming that any true Vale fan would agree Crewe were the best team they'd played all season!!!!

 

I'd love them to go down just to wipe the smug smile off the faces of those prats.

It's this which gets my goat up also. I used to work with a few Crewe fans and speak to the odd one or two still now and they're generally very reasonable and honest chaps about their club. However the more outspoken ones who give it the whole 'holier than thou' club stance really grates. It means jack all at the end of the day, as reflected in the current league standings!

 

Pete Morse is probably the worst culprit for the above!

I disagree. I thought Crewe were excellent at VP but having spoken to Crewe fans, that was far and away their best performance of the season.

 

Their results since the court case finished have been dreadful hence their position.

I think you missed the sarcasm. If you read their message board, thats exactly what they were saying. The only reason they were below us was because of the rape case. It wasnt a one off, it wasnt them playig well against a shambolic vale display. It was just because they were now a far superior team.

Sorry, totally missed it!

 

To be fair, Crewe put their performance of the season in against us. We were that bad we were lucky they missed a couple of sitters, otherwise the score would have been very embarrassing.

If Shrewsbury set up like they did at home against us, I can't see Crewe breaking them down.

 

With Crewed home form, I can't see them beating Colchester & then Bristol City & Preston are both very good sides. It will be interesting.
