Cuvelier injury...

Just listened to the sports news on radio joke and unsurprisingly they never mentioned anything about the injury,no update,no info about what the injury was,no info about how long he is expected to be out, never even mentioned Vale.

It would guess he wouldn't be assessed until today because I'm sure they said they'd need at least 24hrs for it to calm down before making a diagnosis.

I just hope it's good news.

I agree, the opposition players havent been injured , i know for a fact one of our players "tampers" with his own boots and is the reason for his injury.

I did my knee in years ago when they first came out the moulds a down both sides so when you turn on soft grass they stay there and your body turns the round normal studs turn with you cause there's only 4 round studs my daughter plays for sjoke and she's changed hers for that reason

Are modern Pro boots suitable for all types of pitches, probably designed for firm pitches with excellent drainage, which quite often are watered before and even at half time. Whereas with the recent weather, pitches like the Vale become difficult, and require specialist or old fashioned studs, or even a change of boots.

The blades are a solid strip of plastic that stops you turning quickly I was looking at Nike muricul and there's no protection on top of the foot and they are blades players need to go back to boots that protect them to an extent instead of trying to look good in flashy slippers

The boots they wear in the premier league seem to make you fall over when in the penalty area for no apparent reason. If lads are getting injure on heavy pitches it must be their boots not the pitch as these have been played on for decades with little or no injury caused until todays flashy boots with the dangerous blades on them.

I believe if you look a bit more you will find that there are Nike Mercurial boots (for example) for different surfaces. Some only have blades. others, for soft pitches, have studs as well. I'm no expert but it may be that the players need to have better advice on which boots they wear. Or it may just be one of those things that happen in a game of football.
