Not athe end of the world, they are a very very good side and we have key players out. I do think its time to give up on Williamson, all we ever hear is promise yet fails to deliver.

Still, good experience for the 2 young lads at the back. They probably wont come up against much better teams in the league this season.

 

Accept what you said, but hasn't Blakeman just described them as awful at times??? And yet they have still managed 20+ shots. Some of these players - Williamson, Dodds, Shuker! Birchall etc who are perennial benchwarmers are never going to be good enough at need to go.

He also said you can see why they are top of the league at times..... Were not going to sign anyone better than those i dont think.

I'm with the glass half full brigade on this one. Sounds like the defence has played well with 2 new players in there. Not many on here gave us a shout before the game, but despite them being on top, we have been in the game for 88 minutes until the second one went in. Always look for the positives in defeat, especially when it was expected - and there are some positives today.

Agree. Williamson has had more than enough chances. He does some good things but will never be a goalscorer.

Considering the woes of the last game I dont think its a bad result, its not good but its an improvement... we go again.
