Delighted to see that both clubs have issued a joint statement calling the police liars and saying that the terms and conditions of ticket sales to Sunderland fans have been withdrawn!

I was born when we played in Hanley, but could not hear the clock from the City Gen, then lived for 2 years in Heron Cross, before moving to Hanley, am I not genuine? But I can claim ancestry from a genuine supporter, except we were non-league at the time.

I was born a spit away from the hanley ground and told regularly that a relative played for the vale but because I live a distance away Im told Im not a supporter... I had an aunt who lived in heron cross... anyway... it doesnt matter where people live or how many games they can attend if vale is part of you its not something you can shake easily... even if all you can do is check the results.

Strange how critics never seem to post what the criteria is for being a supporter... ah well
