New Year's Eve honours list

Read the daily torygraph article, and as dismayed as I am , I sadly don't find that I'm very surprised !.

Seems to me that powerful jobs & positions not only attract high salaries, but also attract recognition from not only the government but also from the people who are responsible for organising the New Years honours list.

Old boys club springs to mind !

Must be great to have been born into wealth & privilege, because let's be honest , even without the education & hard work, you made it in life providing you keep wearing the old school tie.

Bit different from those working class folk who for no fault of their own become unemployed but still have to find a way to feed their family on benefit money !.

Does anyone really take the honours system seriously these days? Pleased for those who have earned theirs and don't give a monkeys about those who have not

And let's not go on about those born into wealth etc compared to those ordinary working class people...compared to many millions in this world all of us in the UK are born into a priviliged position
