1 bad game doesn't make a bad player given how good he has been in previous games, if that was the case Dickinson and particularly (no tackle) Yates could go with him! ;)

I had already wrote today off we never do well there.... If we ever win there then we have a very good side!!

Both Robertson and Chilvers were poor today.

 

Not scapegoating them but I genuinely don't think they're good enough.

Defensively we are dreadful. Anyone with pace has a field day against Chilvers and Robertson.

 

A secondary but equally important issue is that of Griffith who just isn't good enough for League One and it is costing us big style as sides simply pass it around us for fun.

Absolutely ideal time to take today's result well and truly out of short wood next Monday. Swindon away is one hell of a bogey game for us and it doesn't surprise me in the slightest that we've lost today. Bad day at the office but we are 7 points away from relegation zone, well on track to succeed in meeting expectations this season, we can certainly score goals wherever we go. Lots to work on, lots of positives, so onward port vale soldiers to a run of very winnable games in November. Keep the faith, in Micky we trust.

Very good point. Griff offered nothing. Dodds put more tackles in than him.

Interesting to hear who was to blame for the five goals .

At 3-2 and well back in the game the fourth goal which was two mins after Hughes is the goal which killed us be interesting to c who's fault that goal was !

We defo r not going get in the play offs ,we will be lucky stay up on that result alone !

Very poor result ,I should imagine the performance lacked until the substitutions any kind of merit at all .
