Chris take a look at their team, they had to be the favourites given their talent and the fact they were at home.

 

I think he meant frustrate them when we were down to 10 men after only 20 minutes.

 

He clearly did start with an attacking intent replacing a defender in Dickinson with an out and out winger JMW and put out two out and out strikers.

 

The players let him down big time first half, they will respond I am sure.

Well said. Doing that in a dressing room is one thing but on the field of play is out of order and its not the first time he has done something like this as well. It would be interesting if MA gives Dan Jones the same treatment as he gave Morsey. He let the side down badly today going in like that whilst on a yellow

They are both average league 2 players...JMW actually slightly better than Morsy.

I think he will rightly be very disappointed with Jones as what he did was daft however Morsy went into hurt another player and had tried to do it at least once previously.

I don't care if it is pope, Hughes or Micky mouse, our best tactics last year was one up front two wingers and three in the middle. A number of our players obviously cannot cope with the step up but what do you expect for nothing.

I have some sympathy for JMW. He's the new fall guy. He scores two goals (would have been 4 if he took the pens) and he gets dropped. I hope it gets sorted quickly, but from our experience of MA, JMW probably won't feature again.

Normally, you'd take a striker off in that situation, plus when JMW gets the ball, he occupies 2 defenders. No one will ever convince me that Pope and HUghes should be on the pitch at the same time. Goals have dried up again.
