Arsenal v Stoke City........

Watching it on Sky. Second half, Stoke have dominated possession but Arsenal have scored the third of three set piece goals against the run of play. Tables turned then, eh. Stoke have played reasonably well but have a nasty habit of constantly leaving their foot in. So not everything's changed. It will be a long journey back.

Stoke's defending was woeful..why didn't they have people on the post at corners?

More to the point, they'll be disappointed they didn't win the first ball at set pieces. There was a carbon copy of the second goal a few minutes before which was cleared almost off the line.

Beggers could have maybe done more with the goals as well.

But Huth is a nasty piece of work. What about his body check and his constant holding and pushing.Even some Stoke fans think he is a nasty piece of work.;)

Complete non shocker.

I think it's more of a school girl crush you have on Stoke. Similarly to when you fancy a girl at primary school... you call her names and pretend you hate them.

Be careful Melv, you'll get a reputation for being a closet Stoke fan.

Wilshere left his foot in on more than one occasion, it's a physical game it happens..............

Once as far as I remember, whereas he was constantly fouled by Stoke players, particularly Nzonzi with one nasty foul on his injured ankle. Wilshere, by virtue of his small stature, is regularly bundled off the ball, though he does invite a tackle by holding on to the ball for too long.

More worrying for Stoke than their propensity to stick the boot in (ever a mark of Hughes's managerial style) was the commentator's point that they had nothing to offer in the final third. Judging by the way they conceded the three goals, they have little to offer in their defensive third either. So their greater possession in midfield came to nothing.

Methinks it might be a long season.
