Although I love the cover design and general layout (and the content aint bad particularly Jacko's page)

 

For the benefit of at least this life-long supporter can't the print size be a tad bigger? or at least print black on white instead of the trendy idea of having the club crest overtyped on the pages. It may look trendy but it means I cant read the ****** thing.

 

Finally, on the inside back page of the Brentford programme there's a picture of Ally Simcock, Supporters Club Chairman. Well if that picture was taken in 1876 (like it says) then she's a bludy vampire !! :D ;)

Complaints have already been made about the print size after the friendly games, Dave. You have just confirmed what the complainant (not me!) said about old people having difficulty reading it! The font is size 9 apparently.

BTW the comment re:Ally is a bit of humour as I think she is an excellent choice for Chairman and a nice lady but the 'caption' under her pic does say 1876 (an unfortunate use of part of the underlying badge issue)

Jean, as you know I own a holiday company that publishes a number of brochures targeted at the over 60's market and we don't go any smaller than 12 point.

I'm more concerned that the Chair of the supporters club hasn't a clue on when we were last in League 1, or that Griff isn't included in our squad?

Yes Fosse to be fair we do A4 brochures.

 

VS its just the way you've read it I think - Ally is just saying what great times we had back in League 1 including a promotion.

 

Any road up what do you expect from someone who according to her picture caption in the programme is 137 years old - at that age its got to be senility mate :D

Oh dear, that's very small indeed! Office standard practice is font size 11, and I now prefer size 12 (getting a bit older now). The least they should do is upgrade to 10. There's not much point in cramming in more content if half the punters can't read it! Think Quality Vale!
