If it is Robertson then with him having 2 years left I guess we will have agreed some kind of small fee with PNE and that's why they have allowed 2 clubs to talk to him.

They are desperate to get players off the wage bill so they may cancel his contract by mutual consent.

Robertson signed for £65k in Jan 2012 on a 2 1/2 year deal and has a final year on contract.....however different manager

at Preston and they have a number of centre back options and need players off the wage bill before any new signings......

Story is that Robertson and a couple of others are available for free transfers say the Preston forum intelligentsia.

thats not a developent team we wont get funding for a reserve team we had last year Most clubs have a manager for there development teams who is responsible for it . It was going to be a big new thing to get young players to advance to the first team but i think it died with MR wilds naybe it was his dream

 

The development squad is just a fancy made up name name for the reserve squad. Sounds good but its no more than that.
