To be honest it’s probably worth a shot taking them all there. The truth is his level is decent L2 defender but not really any higher. There’s a reason opposition teams are happy to see the ball at his feet and just stand off waiting for the misplaced pass. I didn’t think he was the right one to be captain when he was appointed and it should have been Garrity, he’s always been the one who plays alongside the leader like Legge.

Cambridge must be fuming after they took him off the scrapheap when he got fired by Gillingham. Their fixture list is not very kind at all so it's more than plausible they could get hauled in by the time we meet them, obviously some of that is pending who replaces him. Can't imagine Millwall fans would be particularly impressed either. Outside of what he did for them as a player you'd be looking at that as the lazy option and seems a downgrade on Rowett at the very least.

Massey on for Mighten. Right Massey needs to show something here, he's playing as an out and out winger here so needs to do his bit. Also great to see Garrity back on the pitch.

Perhaps a little too open still at the back for my liking but it feels like we are capable of scoring. I'm just wondering if Garrity can give us 15-20 if want to roll the dice.

Whatever happens for the rest of the game I've seen enough in half an hour to tell me if we don't go back to wingbacks again it will be too soon. Just need to be careful of Readings threat out wide. Seems to be where most of their best work is coming.

Very refreshing to see someone in our lineup who is terrifying the opposition defender each time he gets on the ball.

Really nice counter there by Vale to get Mighten in down the left. That's a nice sign to see how we've been trying to play through the lines more.
