Great memories, Houchens goal, etc. no doubt the ground has changed too. Remember when that old wooden stand was condemned on one side?

Wolves away is actually a poor one from a fan's perspective. If the away support is big enough, they give you the lower tier of the John Ireland Stand. This is notoriously difficult to generate atmosphere in, as it's so long and so far from the pitch.

 

Outside the ground, a big problem is that lots of Wolves fans are horrible...think Birmingham City in black-and-gold and you're getting the idea. It's definitely not the place for wearing colours.

 

Booze-wise, again their hoolies will be out in force if they know there is the chance of a ruck. Avoid at all costs The Feathers by the ground, and indeed avoid most of the "city" centre pubs. The best of a bad bunch is the Posada and the Combermere Arms, otherwise it's your usual Wetherpoons/Yates/Goose hell-holes.

I think it's fair to say Wolves away is first fixture many of us are looking forward to next season (providing they secure relegation today).

 

We will sell-out whatever allocation they give to us, no doubt about that.

I went to Wolves Man City with Peter (Swedish Valiant) and Morgan, who's team is Wolves, last season. We all got kicked out as Peter wouldn't cover up his Vale shirt. Didn't really think there was a problem being neutral but the stewards had other ideas.
