i didnt go york unfortunately so perhaps im not the best to comment, lofts had a very mixed season for me, im hoping he gets back to his very best for the next 7 games

Yep, Birchall was getting well stuck in Saturday. Just what was needed to bolster the midfield and make their players think twice as Birchall and Grif were right at them, in their faces.

One bad tackle by Birchall had me cringing... and I even would not have been surprised if he had been shown the red card for it, but luckily the ref only gave yellow. Nice to see though that all the lads were battling away and that is what will be required until this seasons done and dusted. Will miss Birchall now if he goes to Trinidad.
