He said in the week that he was fit to play, I certainly hope he was ill and that they havnt fallen out.

If he'd been ill for a week he wouldn't have trained. Even if he felt better for the day or two and did some light training, you wouldn't put him in the team on the Sat. That would run the risk of major injury. Given the Burgermeister's history that is the last thing he needs. Taking it all at face value, I'd say it would be sensible for him to sit on the bench Tues, and play Sat. Hopefully this is a none story. I rate the Burgermeister personally and think we've missed him.

If that is correct then it looks like young Burge has a mental health problem. Telling some he is ill and others he is fit to play means he is a very confused young man. Perhaps the bang in the eye he got at Oxford has left him confused.....I mean concussed

That square's things up for me Woody. Can i say i am NOT an Adams hater OR a sack the Manager Monday merchant, BUT MA thinks at times he is a Billy Big time Manager. And he lost quite a lot of respect from me for calling one OUR players publically a coward for stupid BUT not malicious foul and then he praises another player after he got sent off....MA like most Managers has his favourites AND he shows it at times. Like most Vale fans i have issues with his starting line-ups or match day squads BUT at the end of the day the Manager picks the side and WE have to accept this.

 

We are all on a downer at the moment because of this 'disastrous' and its not a blip either period.........If the Manager and the players maybe go down to Bristol maybe on Monday and spend a good 24 hours together maybe they can mentally sort themselves out.....................I am still confident that at the end of the Season the chant of 'There's only one Micky Adams' will echo around Vale Park or Wembley........;)

im watching what I say out of respect for Ryan but I think you will find if anybody has had a bang on the head then its Adams because he has lost the plot big time, I can't see the point of a thread going round in circles I said earlier its fact what carpet man posted so why after that somebody would post ive heard he's ill etc is stupid,nobody wants to play and get on more than Ryan and only one person is stoping this from happening FACT.
