Boardroom whispers

How many on here have been hearing any new gossop. New American investors. Then wait for it Harlequin have once again raised their ugly head. I think it all Bratt's wishful thinking.

Here though is some real juicy and true facts. Bratt, Jackson and Mudie were all absent today. So perhaps they have given up the play offs before today's latest disaster. The truth probably is that they were getting their hotel ship shape for the coming season up in Blackpool.

Graham Shaw stockport's new CEO was rudely snubbed by our own edited by admin Glenn Oliver.:( While Mike Lloyd was more cordial and told Graham to tell Mike Newton to get in touch as he was sure another investment offer would be looked at favourably. Graham responded by saying it's too late for that now I fear.

I heard Bratt was at the ground early in the day to do a photoshoot with some Americans. They are the astroturf people who are sponsoring the club's summer tour.

Interestingly Harlequin's box was being used but their blinds were drawn.

You are spot on Old Sage as i went to todays game with G. Shaw...I sat in the Railway after turning a Directors box ticket down. I had a couple of pre-match pints in Boslem i joined the protests...And i returned with GS.

Graham Shaw thinks the reason Vale will not invite offers because they have to many skeletons hiding in our Books closets. He put this question to me.

If someone relating to the Mo/Simms bid offered you TWICE the price for your house.....Would you turn it down.

He added many a 1st/2nd even Championship side would Snap Mo/Sims offer with both hands.

And he personally has no issues with Mo. And he thinks the new bid HAS to go through or Vale will be heading down the same road as Stockport.

In the last section of Lorne Street today, three rows from the front, sat a bloke with a black book, making notes all the way through the match. Not sure who/what/why he was/doing there.
