He was a Gannon signing. Also, regardless of Pope's goals, I dread to think where we would be if we still had Tomlinson or any other keeper in this league in goal. Not in the top 3 is my confident prediction.

 

How could he be a Gannon signing, Gannon brought him in on loan from Rotherham and he went back there at the end of his loan spell. Adams came back and brought Tom back as a Vale player under contract to PVFC.

Because mental jim was the person who first brought him in. Was Collins a Sinnott signing or a dean glover signing?

But Chris Neal has only been with us just over half a season - yes he has made some match winning saves but he has also had a couple of hic-cups that have cost us and we have conceded goals that I think he should have done better with.

 

Yes he is the best we have had for a long time and its great knowing we have a good keeper but lets not get too carried away when comparing with popey's season where he has only really let us down (as far as I can remember) when he missed an easy header when the score was 0-0 against Fleetwood at home.
