since 2004 only twice has 82 points not been enough for automatic promotion.

So 30 points should be enough.

30 points from 57 available or 10 wins out of 19.

 

All Vale fans know 89 points may not be enough Arthur, let's just win 'em all and be done with this damned league!.

possibly. but that league table is a lot closer to be fair. cheltenham are only 4 points clear of fourth there, we are 9 and have a vastly superior goal difference which counts as an extra point as far as i'm concerned.

I work for the Co-op and in August we enter a draw for tickets to games at Vale, Rochdale, Bradford, Ipswich, and Stoke.... I won 2 Vale at home games and 1 Rochdale game V Port Vale.. I said it was an omen when it was drawn....

I see it different this season though there are about 10 teams from Exeter down, that will take points off each for the rest of the campaign....This week we have Oxford v Rotherham for example.

That's always the way though.

 

They key is to continue doing our own job. Ignore the rest and focus on our own games.

 

Don't get me wrong, we are in a good place and its exciting. But the one major danger we have is complacency. We can't get carried away because it can easily slip.

i think it will go right to the wire, too many teams in with a chance, we have to keep picking points up same as gills,if we do that then we will go up but it aint a gimmee.

Regardless of what happens I've earmarked Rochdale as being a big away day and a carnival atmosphere.
