I am not going again until the kiosk staff know that a sausage roll or a meat & potato pie is NOT a vegetarian option.

Hahaha made me laugh when i first read that the other day. Funny and scary that somebody could be that thick all at the same time.

Anyhoo, i'm not setting foot in vale park again until we have a statue of our greatest player EXODUS GEOGHEGAN put up next to OUR ROY!!!

Cheers for picking my post apart.

It was meant to be a bit of fun and see what kind of funny excuses we've heard or indeed could make up.

Some of you lot take yourselves far too seriously, a reason why many long term posters dont bother.

I wish I was a real vale fan so I could tell others they aren't..... what they should do.... what they should think... how to spend their money.... and what their priorities should be.... I could also tell them the club doesnt need them.

I wonder how many of the "real supporters" would turn up if the ST prices were increased to £20 a game?

I wont set foot in vale park again until I decide to.... its that simple.... I dont need "excuses" not to go

Tetchy

I've heard one individual who rarely if ever comes anymore state that his heart just isn't in it anymore, and prefers to do other activities than watch Vale these days. I have far more respect for this individual for stating as such, rather than the bull**** excuses I and others seem to endure from the same old individuals on a six monthly basis.

If you don't want to watch Vale at £20, go and watch the North London Derby for £71, or maybe pay £62 to watch drugs cheat Ferdinand and his overpaid chums play City in a few weeks.

For such a poor area I find it remarkable that there'll be at least 23,000 people down at Stoke paying a minimum of £40 for the privilege of watching their club get beaten by Chelsea. £20 to get in isn't an issue, it's simply that people don't want to appear to not support the club anymore, and insist on making stupid excuses for one reason or another.

Slightly off topic.

Over the years of our decline and our neighbours success, have we actually lost fans that now watch stoke because they want to see prem football or have we lost them due to our decline.

I know a lot of stoke 'fans' who now have ST's but I don't know any 'floating' vale fans that now go to the Britannia

Oh and because I have not got a supply of greasy chip butties, can't get any woodbines and have no chance of getting a nice bit of stuff I won't be having a night out in burslem there for I will not be stepping foot in VP.
