Apathy is the biggest one. Just watch the fair weather fans return when promotion is secured in April when the weather gets better too.

 

Have to concede the crowds and the atmosphere have been very, very disappointing this season.

I am sorry to say I come into this bracket, I am getting on in years and if I get cold I will suffer for the rest of the week,I would love to go every week, I will go if the weather is ok,my heart is willing but my body is weak, I don't no if that comes under apathy if it does I'm guilty.

Question relating to your original post. Can you be a "fan" of any description without going to games? Surely if you don't go to any without reason you are just an interested bystander? Feel free to shoot me down.

Without reason?.... there is always a reason why people dont attend.... even if its simple choice.

The bit that concerns me is why do people need excuses to not do something that is completely voluntary and why do people ask for them....

If you don't want to watch Vale at £20, go and watch the North London Derby for £71, or maybe pay £62 to watch drugs cheat Ferdinand and his overpaid chums play City in a few weeks.

 

For such a poor area I find it remarkable that there'll be at least 23,000 people down at Stoke paying a minimum of £40 for the privilege of watching their club get beaten by Chelsea. £20 to get in isn't an issue, it's simply that people don't want to appear to not support the club anymore, and insist on making stupid excuses for one reason or another.
