I think this game is really winnable and if we do win it it will set us up nicely for the Stevenage game which I will be attending so I hope when we travel there we are still in with a strong shout for the play offs.

 

I think we will struggle against Stevenage because they look much more organised and capable than Stockport.

 

Lets get behind the lads on Saturday to make sure we have something to play for still when it comes to next Monday!

Realistically a Northampton draw would be enough to send Stockport down if we win. They would need to score a shedload of goals to avoid the drop on goal difference!! I think Stockport may put up a bit of a fight on Saturday, just hope we come out fired up and ready to attack attack attack!

I hope they do come and attack attack attack.......Because if they come and put 5 men in midfield i don't think we have a Plan B to break them down as has been proved in the past.

I did the predictor and had us finishing 7th 1 point ahead of Torquay.

And that is with me putting Torquay to beat us and also us drawing at Stevenage.

Torqay have some really tough games now.

off topic slightly remember our last promotion at Brighton when we had a decent goal difference plymouth needed to win by I think 7 goals to beat us to promotion.......qnd all we heard was 1-0 2-0 3-0 4-0 5-0 6-0 7-0 then conceeded 7-1 from there game which ensured we went up!!!!

I see that Stockport have the worst defence in the league having conceded 90 goals so far.We have one of the worst goalscoring records with 46 goals,so it should be interesting.

I predict 1-0 for the Vale.

then foyle scored late on to make it 3-1 for us which sent us up :D when we took over Brighton as they had to open the whole of one side as we took so many it took everyone by supprise then the vale stole the pitch invasion on there last game of season:razz:

 

think there was mini pitch invasions after every vale goal

Its time this group of players stopped talking a good game - they all seem pretty adept at "biggin it up" in the press even the young lad Morsy is talking the talk - now its time to walk the walk. These players have to deliver on the pitch and this game against, what will be a non league side after May, is the ideal opportunity.
