If its only Liam chilvers in then ill be quite disappointed. We've had a great start, and I'm very happy but we've been saying for the past two weeks we need players in and grew and Micky said the same.

Wanted a left back and a forward a long with centre half (chilvers).

No news on official site of Hughes so I'd expect that to have not gone through?.

I usually enjoy your posts but that is poor.

Some things are more important than football?

What like rehabilitating people who have made mistakes?

He crashed his car in wet weather and you want him to suffer for the rest of his life?

I put it to any of you that he IS suffering and will suffer for the rest of his life. Obviously not as much as the poor blokes family. But what kind of society would we be in if a man makes a mistake, serves his punishment and then society tells him he cannot earn a decent living for his family doing something he is good at?

Rubbish.

As a football signing, its great. just what we needed.

Ethically i feel sickened by it. the fact he's going to wear a vale shirt. he's scum and always will be in my opinion.

When he scores his first treble you will laugh at yourself for that comment. Since when have football fans been ethical? Do whatever it takes to win.

You probably wouldn't care if he crashed into your family and left them for dead as long as he got vale promoted

Yes I would but he hasn't and I'm sure he didn't do it on perpose, was an accident, your making out like he saw the car coming and then crashed into it (or what ever happened) on purpose...? Bit of a fickle mind you have there

Did he not run off and hide because it was claimed he was over the drink drive limit at the time?

If I remembered the above correctly, it's a little more than crashing a car in the wet.

He ran off. (After checking that the people in the car were alright)

He handed himself in the next day after realising that the guy had died.

The prosecution tried to claim that he was over the limit. He denied it and it was never proven. (ie the prosection couldn't get a witness from one of two pubs that he was in)
