I wore my Black and Gold scarf purposely on Tuesday night. At the peak of the protests, I was always getting snide comments from one or two bell ends in the Bycars. My brother was also physically assaulted by someone for having an anti-V2001 home made banner in the 2008/09 season. Didn't hear a peep from anyone this Tuesday though.

 

If I'm honest, it does grate a little that the people who were critical and aggressive to me and many others, because of the stand we were taking at the time, have forgotten all about that and revel in what will hopefully be a successful future, which in part is as a result of the protest movement they disliked so much.

It is annoying and frustrating but **** em, we were right and we helped secure a brighter future. Just draw a line under it all now. If they were too stubborn to see it when it was obvious, they'll be too stubborn to hold their hands up and say yeah, you were right, well done. Just take pride in the part you played and enjoy every moment of what's about to happen.

I say leave it to individual choice. I saw a few highly respected Black & Golders on Tuesday proudly wearing their B&G colours. This was by way of celebration and in no way of a confrontational nature.

I was wearing my old black & White scarf but I'm equally proud of what the protesters achieved in fact I'm planning to commission a picture of the 'Coffin March'as a sign of our part in helping to save our club.

We must never forget our victory for good over a very bad regime

 

Agreed,i am very proud of what vale supporters did in getting rid of that lot. I still have a pic of the coffin march on my facebook group as it perfectly sums up supporter power. I remember being in that march at the start of the season and feeling that everything was lost,a lot of people felt like giving up..how things change,and now look at us.

Great to be vale again.
