Central Midfielders?

I didnt go yesterday as I was working. However, Taylor hasn't impressed.me massively at Left back. goes missing positionally but he has done better each time. Loft straight back in at left back for me, unless he.comes back before Burge, then its back in the middle.

I thought Shuker was excellent yesterday.

I actually think we've got 5 decent midfielders with Morsy Burge Shuker Loft and Murphy who once match fit will be a good player. There is also Kingsley James who did nothing wrong when he came on but with games under his belt good develop as Morsy has done.

What we do need is another good forward and a left back in the squad and then we will have a decent cover all round.

No he's the captain and will be straight back in the team at left back with morsy and burge in the centre

 

I don't think anybody deserves to walk straight back into a team (captain or not) as it sends the wrong message to the players who have come into the team and done well. You have a valid point if we had been struggling since Loft's injury as he is very highly rated by MA and supporters and his experience would be invaluable to get us back to winning ways.

 

But we are doing well and have a winning team, Loft deserves a place on the bench and could change a game if we are playing badly and losing or if we get an injury to a key player, but at the moment that is all.

 

As has been mentioned already.......... Why change a winning team?

A couple of games ago I would have agreed but he's done well in each of the last three games. I actually think he's getting use to the role - at last!!

Incidentally, is Burge still on the transfer list?

Think Murphy did Ok, won the headers Shuker couldn't and tried to pass forward a lot which was needed.

When all are fit and available, I'd stick ith Morsey and Burge.

I do agree with you. I just feel that loft is a key player and although taylor is doing well I'd still feel a lot safer having loft in the team than taylor

I still think Adams will bring in a proven left back when the takeover is complete which will then give him the extra winger and midfielder option(as well as having two players who we know can also play left back when needed again).
