McD has been rock solid - it was never a penalty - he normally just clears it but as we were 5-1 up he decided to try a bit of footie instead of doing what he normaly does but he kicked the ball and the lad decided to fall over his leg IMHO.

The foul down the side was exactly the right thing to do - Lofty had 'disappeared' and the lad was away so he just chopped him.

His tackle that earnt him a booking saved a goal I reckon. No other Vale player to stop a free cross if Clayt doesn't take him.
